Voltage testing involves a 50% charge cycle for every battery followed by an overnight rest period. Then the battery is tested on a voltage meter. Any battery that holds a charge overnight is deemed passable, while any battery showing no power on the voltage meter is deemed to have failed the voltage test.
Cadex testing is performed by the Cadex C7400 analyzers. The analyzers are programmable to a wide range of voltage/current settings as per specific client specifications.
At the client’s request, batteries can be sorted to fall within a specific manufacture date range. Date code selecting may reflect battery cost.
At the client’s request, we can charge their batteries for them for a nominal fee.
All tested batteries are marked with a white Cadex sticker that reflects the QC status and date of the test when it was performed. All batteries sold by OEM Source, Inc. which are marked by a white Cadex sticker are guaranteed to be Cadex tested according to specifications.
